Christina Murphy, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS, PhD Candidate, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and Counselor Educator with over 20 years of experience in clinical mental health. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Life’s Hope Therapeutic Services PLLC, where she leads a team of counselors and integrates leadership development, ethical practice, and whole-person care into clinical work.

Christina is the co-developer of the Empowerment Model of Clinical Supervision and co-author of The Empowerment Model of Clinical Supervision: A Roadmap Through the Complexities of Community Mental Health. Her clinical and scholarly interests include professional identity development, trauma-informed supervision, counselor self-efficacy, leadership in mental health settings, and resilience among helping professionals.

As a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision, Christina’s research focuses on the impact of the Empowerment Model of Clinical Supervision on supervisee growth, including self-efficacy, cultural competence, and readiness for independent practice. She is passionate about developing strong professional identity in counselors and equipping leaders to build sustainable, ethically grounded mental health organizations.

Christina brings both academic insight and real-world leadership experience to her work and is committed to advancing the counseling profession through supervision, scholarship, and servant leadership.
