Nina Carter Cohen, MA, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Colorado. With over two decades in helping professions, she works with adults navigating grief and loss, faith transitions and religious harm, relationship challenge and couples work, and major life transitions. Nina integrates person-centered therapy with somatic awareness, parts-oriented work, mindfulness, and narrative approaches to support deep emotional healing. She was part of the first cohort to complete Megan Devine’s Grief Care Professional Certificate Program and recently completed advanced clinical training in neurodiversity-affirming therapy. A certified spiritual director, Nina spent over 40 years in church leadership before transitioning into secular counseling. She is increasingly interested in how counselors can sustain presence and well-being in clinical practice through nervous system awareness and rethinking the role of time.
