Riley Cochran is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with over a decade of experience treating high-risk, trauma-impacted, and system-involved youth and families across residential, outpatient, and community-based settings. As Executive Director of Resolute Counseling Center in Colorado, he leads a multidisciplinary team specializing in adolescent mental health, trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. Riley’s clinical work centers on the intersection of trauma, attachment, and behavior—developing evidence-based, field-tested treatment models that strengthen engagement, improve treatment retention, and reduce high-risk behaviors in youth navigating mental health and substance use challenges. His experience includes intensive in-home therapy, dual-diagnosis programming, crisis intervention, family systems work, and collaborative treatment planning with juvenile justice, schools, and child welfare. Known for his grounded, relational approach, Riley trains clinicians nationwide on trauma-informed engagement, attachment-based intervention, and strategies for re-engaging youth and caregivers who struggle with trust, treatment resistance, or behavioral dysregulation. He is also the founder of The Guardian’s Guide, a clinical education and coaching platform supporting professionals and families in fostering sustainable, relationship-driven change. Riley brings a human, hopeful, and deeply practical style to every training—helping professionals move from reactivity and burnout to clarity, confidence, and connection in their work with complex youth and families.
