I am a therapist and business owner based in Denver. For over 16 years, I have led Peak to Peak Roofing and Exteriors, growing it into a multi-million-dollar company. Along the way, I realized something unexpected: the same principles that build a strong business such as clarity, resilience, and trust are the same ones that help heal people and relationships. A few years ago, I started applying therapeutic frameworks directly into leadership. This one simple shift changed everything. Instead of solving problems first, I learned to name the emotional process in the room. Instead of pushing for outcomes, I focused on creating safety and clarity. Instead of separating roles, I began integrating who I am across all contexts. This resulted in stronger teams, clearer decisions, and conversations that actually move things forward. Clinically, I am trained in experiential and attachment-based approaches, drawing from Gestalt and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I hold a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, and I bring that lens into everything I do. This experience led me to found Global Healing Counselors, a nonprofit focused on meeting mental health needs around the world through counseling, training, and partnership with local communities. I have had the opportunity to present at the Colorado Counseling Association conferences in 2023 and 2024, where I focused on bridging theory and practice, especially around emotional risk taking and integrating personal and professional identity.
