As an RN, USAF Veteran, CHP, Speaker, Comedian and Author, Judi is a mental health registered nurse who served in the USAF Nurse Corps and continues to serve America’s Veterans at the Bay Pines VA. She has won awards for her involvement in veteran case management and teaching the power of using humor; both in treating patients and for the medical staff who work in unrelenting, high stress, military/medical environments. Judi knows that asking for mental health help is a strength, not a weakness. She writes comedy about her own mental health recovery with her rescue dachshunds. Judi uses her journey to help traumatized Veterans be confident enough to start their own mental health journey. It is Judi’s mission to use hope, humor and levity to light (and enlighten) their healing path.
