Desiree Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and a doctoral graduate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Grand Canyon University. She offers a calm, compassionate space where clients and students can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as they engage in meaningful personal growth and healing.

Grounded in compassion, humility, and authentic human connection, Desiree is deeply committed to multiculturalism and inclusivity. She approaches her work with respect and empathy, striving to foster understanding and collaboration across diverse communities. Her clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed care and integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for emotional regulation, along with Gottman-based interventions to strengthen communication and deepen relational connection. She specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals and couples, providing tailored, affirming care that honors each client’s unique experiences.

In addition to her clinical practice at Chapter & Page Counseling, Desiree serves as a clinical mental health faculty member at GCU, where she teaches and mentors students in the clinical mental health program. As a scholar-practitioner, Desiree contributes to the counseling profession through research, publication, and professional presentations. Her work has focused on multicultural competencies, counselor professional identity development, and navigating microaggressions within counseling and supervision. She is a published author in the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Teaching Practice Briefs and has presented at both the ACES Annual Conference and the American Counseling Association Clinical Supervision Virtual Summit.
