Dr. Reka Farago is a Counselor Educator, Supervisor, and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for nearly 20 years. Additionally, she is a Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Couples Therapist, with additional training in Gottman I-II and Emotion Focused Therapy. She is also an Internship Supervisor and a Dissertation Chair. Dr. Farago has taught counselor professional identity in the context of individual and group supervision, and in multiple graduate level courses in Clinical Mental Health and Counselor Education. Dr. Farago received her PhD. From the University of Northern Colorado. She has experience working with families, couples and adolescence in schools, residential treatment, and private practice in multiple states. She specializes in couples work in her practice. Her approach is centered in Relational Cultural Theory, and emotion focused methods. Her research interests include supervision, human sexuality, and cultural diversity issues, and Counselor Professional Identity.
