Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia and then her Master of Science in Nutrition from Auburn University. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Houston, with a focus on sports nutrition and disordered eating. Caroline began her career as a sports dietitian in a Division I collegiate setting before transitioning into eating disorder treatment, where she has experience across multiple levels of care. She has been a dietitian with Aster Springs for the past four years and moved into the role of Director of Nutrition Services for Aster Springs Virginia in February of 2025.
Her approach is individualized, weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size-aligned, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. She prioritizes strong clinician-client rapport and meeting clients exactly where they are in their recovery journey, recognizing connection and trust as key to meaningful progress. She blends evidence-based nutrition science with a collaborative, therapeutic style and incorporates humor when appropriate to keep sessions approachable and engaging. Caroline’s ultimate goal is to support clients in building a more compassionate, sustainable relationship with food and their bodies, while helping them live in alignment with their own core values rather than their eating disorder’s beliefs.
